Become a Secret Agent Pilot Project

First off I would like to say thanks!!  At one time in our lives you have brought out play in me so I thought of including you in my pilot project!!

I am doing a course online and it is helping me figure things out so that I can break down my dreams into smaller steps.

First step – find out if this is a good idea.  My task: Ask 100 people.  If I can make a thousand dollars then and only then move onto developing it further.

Let me explain.

I am having so much fun creating but who knows it may be only pleasing me. I love playing and having fun and have a practice of including play in my life and can see how it has helped me through life's obstacles.

I would like to help people create a habit of play in their lives.  By doing simple play exercises that would take about 5 seconds to 5 minutes a day.  I believe the best way to do this is in a game.

The game – Your Mission

Object of Your Mission – To make a habit of play 

Your Mission should you choose to accept it is to become a secret agent for The Organization and you will be sent a mission everyday with your morning coffee or tea.  

I will be your Drill Sergeant for a 60 day basic training program that is designed to install lightness, laughter, and basic play skills necessary for service in The Organization.

Who will you be playing with? Yourself

In basic training, recruits go through a series of missions that may seem simple and insignificant but each mission will help install an essence of play in your day to day life.

Where can I complete my missions? At home.

The Organization is skilled at bringing the basic training camp into the comfort of your own home.  

In basic training you will not be pushed to try things beyond your comfort level.  

Instead each mission will strengthen your playfulness, creating a habit.

Why

            Play helps us be more resilient.

            Play helps us feel more joyful.

            Play helps take the heaviness out of life.

What is the purpose of these missions?

            To create a habit of play

The Organization is about play, simple play, no thinking, no discussing with other people.  

If you sign up for boot camp with someone else then the rule is no discussing your missions with anyone.  

Can I recruit other agents for the PIlot Basic Training Boot Camp?

             You can recruit anyone in your life that you feel would benefit from including more play and joy in their life.

             The Organization is a secret and underground institution that does not go on any social media feeds, you will never see advertising, publicity or broadcast media.  

The only way that people hear about The Organization and Your Mission is through recruitment (word of mouth)  

One person who feels the value of play invites another person who sees the value of play.

I would love people of all different age groups.

To participate you will need to take an oath of secrecy.  

You can recruit other agents for basic training until April 1st, yes this was planned and then again after you have completed your own basic training.

We don’t depend on anything but our members.  In a world flooded with marketing tools the most important tool is being forgotten, the people and their pure joy in life through play.

I want a world where people can work better because of play, be better parents because of play, be better community members because of play, be healthier because of play.  But those are all separate institutions to The Organization. This is not a political organization, no politics will be mentioned.  This is not a religious organization or a health club.  We will not induct a belief system.  We will just give tools of play to help to create more joy in the world we live in.  You can join a different system for the other parts of your being.  The Organization only deals with play but it will help you in all the other organizations you are part of.  

Our mission, should you choose to accept it, is to be more playful and we will give you tools and ideas to be more playful through the world of a secret agency called The Organization. Why?  Because it is more fun that way.

The convenient thing about this group that joins the pilot project is that you all know me, and my love of play and the way I use play to move through struggle.  You know it is part of my DNA.  For this pilot project I am asking my family members, brother, sister, nephews, niece, aunts, uncles, & friends who all bring play out in me.  I am grateful to you all for your part in my ability to play as you all have played with me at different times in my life.

I am having so much fun creating The Organization and planning Missions to give to the agents who decide to join me. 

So for a $10 initiation fee…. I would love you to come play with me.

This is a pilot project while the app is being developed so all missions will be sent out at 6 am via email.

If there is anyone you feel who could benefit by going through a play boot camp you have till April 1st to recruit them.  The Boot camp starts April Fools day, April 1st.

How I came up with the idea. 

You may be aware that I was trying to get a job at a coffee shop after the group home didn't work out.  So when I start to think of a job I start to dream.  I was thinking it would be fun when people came in to put a sticker on their cup with their mission for the day.  Little missions they play with themselves, to make life more fun and playful.  No one was calling me to work in their coffee shop so I got to thinking why not open my own coffee shop?

Of course it expanded from there.  I started to have fun with all the ways I could explore the spy world while creating a coffee shop and then my own personality of play came in.  I made a business plan in a day.  I planned on having a headquarters as a coffee shop and then include coffee shops that are locally owned and operated to play the game as well.  I called them safe houses and if mobile coffee shops wanted to join the game they are called Bunkers and pop up coffee shops are called Hideaways.  I would walk down the road laughing as I came up with aliases, code words, job descriptions and got excited about how the app would be developed.  I see a headquarters that holds a coffee shop, areas to encourage play, speakers that come in and talk about the importance of play.

Then I started taking a business course and it said to break it down into manageable steps.  So I had to work backwards with the customer experience.  One task was to ask people in my life what they think I would be good at for a business, my nephew Quinnten replied saying, “I feel like a type of shop where people could come get coffee, socialize, play board games, and do fun activities with the locals! Kind of like a community centre but your own lil shop.”  I didn’t even tell him about my coffee shop idea.  Crazy eh!!!

The next step is to ask 100 people in their life if they would invest $10 of their own money into your idea.  If you can't find 100 people to invest $10 then it is probably better to think of a different idea.  

So this is me doing my next step.  I am asking my cherished friends and family if they think this is a good idea.  If you don't think it is a good idea and can't see it's value then please I would appreciate it if you let me know that as well.  I love being creative and thinking up ideas.

In the future if you have an idea that you want to bounce off of other people please put me on the list of people to ask.  The book I am reading and the program I am going through is Million Dollar Weekend.  So as you can guess I have to do all the tasks in a weekend, but for me having the weekend end on April Fools Day is perfect!!!
