The loom for my woven story is a metaphor for aspirations realized or  still carried . Although the wishbone like loom could be it construed as a slingshot for continuous striving , this debarked tree branch has found a resting position much like a setting sun. In the process of weaving, a soft landing was created symbolizing appreciation for ´what is’ and being  ´in the moment’. 

The warp fought  to be loose creating possibilities for a weft of sunny colours and soft materials . The magic occurred  when a hammock appeared from the forgiving warp. »Basking in the Sun « is a piece that draws the artist’s eye to a coveted place of calm and relaxation.
